Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Redondo Beach Insulation Company, an insulation contractor in Redondo Beach, CA, handles the information you share with us through this website, by phone or in person when we come out to look at your attic, walls or crawl space.
It applies to everyone who visits the site, starting from our home page, and to anyone who asks us for an estimate. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
What information we collect
When you fill out our contact form or call us, we collect what you choose to give us, usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the house and a short note about the job, like a hot upstairs room or a drafty floor over the garage.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type into it is stored on their system and sent to us.
When we visit for an estimate or do the work, we may take notes and photos of the attic, crawl space or walls so we can price the job and show you what we found. We keep those with your job record.
We don't ask for payment card numbers through this website.
Cookies and analytics
Like most websites, ours can use cookies, which are small files your browser saves, and basic analytics tools that count visits and show which pages people read.
That data is general, like the type of device, the browser, the page you came from and roughly where you're browsing from. We use it to see whether the site is working and which pages help people, not to build a profile of you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site should still work, though some parts, like the form, may not behave as smoothly.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your question, set up an estimate at your property, schedule the crew, do the job and follow up afterward.
We may also use it to keep records of the work we did on your house, so if you call back in a few years we know what's already up there.
We won't sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing to people who haven't asked to hear from us.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the people and services that help us run the business, like the form service, our website and email providers and the tools we use to schedule jobs.
We may also share it if the law requires us to, or to protect our rights, our crew or our customers. Outside those cases, your information stays with us.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we need them to serve you, handle any follow-up on the work and meet our tax and business record needs.
If you reached out but never booked a job, we keep your details only as long as they're useful for answering you, and you can ask us to delete them sooner.
Analytics data is kept in summary form and isn't tied back to your name.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep something, like a record of work we did and were paid for.
If you live in California, state law may give you added rights over your personal information, including the right to know what we collect and to not be treated differently for asking. We'll honor those requests.
To make a request, reach us through our Contact page or call (424) 254-3847. We may ask a question or two to make sure the request is really coming from you.
Children's privacy
This website is meant for homeowners and property managers, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the way we run the site or the business changes. The current version will always be on this page, so check back if you have questions about how we handle your information.
How to raise a privacy concern
If something in this policy isn't clear, or you think we've mishandled your information, tell us and we'll look into it. Use the form on our Contact page, email us or call (424) 254-3847.
We're available Mon–Fri: 6 AM–10 PM, Sat–Sun: 7 AM–11 PM, and we reply within 1 business day.
